Kate Lewthwaite, the Woodland Trust

Dear recorders...

As 2009 draws to an end I want to thank everyone who has contributed to Nature's Calendar this year. It’s impossible to overstate how valuable each and every record is and we are immensely grateful for your continued support.

I hope you'll take time to read more in this newsletter about how researchers are using the data that you have helped to collect.

Our iconic newsletter image of a celandine flowering through snow reminds me that spring is just around the corner which is always a positive thought.

In the meantime, wishing you a Happy Christmas and peaceful New Year.

Kate
