Dear Supporter, Flooding

Climate change will have an impact on all of our lives; it is also a major long term threat to our native woodland and it's wildlife. The need to reduce our impact on the environment to alleviate the effects of global warming is both necessary and urgent.

Many of us are familiar with the need to reduce our carbon footprint and know that, by reducing, reusing and recycling, we can make a real difference. But did you know that tree planting can have a positive impact too?

Introducing Woodland Carbon...

A donation to our Woodland Carbon project will allow us to plant and care for new native woodland right here in the UK, creating valuable green spaces for people and wildlife alike.

We calculate that £25 will allow us to create 25 square metres of woodland and this will capture and store one tonne of carbon dioxide over its lifetime.

In addition to helping reduce our global greenhouse gas emissions, creating new woodland now also provides a vital means by which wildlife and people can adapt to future climates. Shade, shelter, protection from wind and water erosion are just some of the many benefits that trees bring, but we must act now to ensure those benefits are with us when we need them most.

Reduce | Reuse | Recycle | Reforest...
Make Woodland Carbon your next step.

Kind regards,

Nick Atkinson
Carbon Manager
