Our woods Campaigns Plant a tree Membership Tree shop Events

Dear Supporter, Sue Holden

I’ve just returned from a visit to Willesley Wood in the National Forest. The 30,000 trees we planted there 15 years ago now look really amazing – some are over 25ft high -  it feels like a wood already. I was accompanied by one of the people who planted some of those trees and her excitement at having created such a fantastic place was infectious.

If you’d like to share in this feeling, you could contribute to the creation of our new native wood in the foothills of Cadair Idris – the last stronghold of the Welsh princes. For more details see our first story below....

I’d also like to give you an update on our Brede High Woods appeal. We’ve had a great response and we're very close to our original target now. But, due to being unsuccessful in securing one grant, we now need to raise an additional £400,000 to purchase this site. Please help us if you can

Your support makes a real difference!

Kind regards,
Sue Holden, chief executive

PS Thanks to everyone who responded to our recent story about the
Bexhill-Hasting link road. East Sussex County Council received over 1800 objections, which we hope will make a real difference when the case comes before the planning committee.
