Woodland Network Summer 2007 Newsletter
|
Well it might not have been the best early summer for getting out in the woods but as I write this the weather has picked up a bit and the sun is shining.
It has certainly meant that this year many of the tree planting schemes we carried out this past winter will have got of to a good start.
The year before we suffered quite a lot of tree losses especially in the South East.

Lets hope you can join us for the next gathering in 2009. Suggestions for a venue will be most welcome.

CWN grants
Also this summer we had nine group applications for funding through the network. Decisions on these will be made shortly, however we have been impressed with the standard of applications this year and the range of projects seeking support.
