Dear Supporter

Planting a tree is a life-changing experience. Time and time again people tell us this. Last month I joined other staff as we celebrated the Woodland Trust's 33rd birthday by each planting our own trees. It wasn't the first time but I still felt inspired. If you haven't tried it, you must!

Woodland Trust staff tree planting at Londonthorpe. Matt LimbAs the new tree planting season begins, in this e-newsletter you will read how we are making the most of this powerful act, creating in people a lifelong love and respect for woodland.

Clive is one of our best known volunteers but there are thousands of others making a massive difference to the UK's woods. There's a surprising range of roles too, indoors and out. Take a look at the opportunities.

Read on to meet our new celebrity supporters, discover the very latest special offers, how autumn is changing and a great deal more.

Best wishes
